A former U.S. Air Force cybersecurity executive and space systems security architect, Richard has led cybersecurity operations across the Department of Defense, U.S. Space Force, Navy SATCOM programs, and advanced Special Access Programs (SAPs). He’s been the trusted cybersecurity advisor to senior government officials and private-sector executives alike—designing secure architectures, leading risk management efforts, and steering complex programs at the highest levels of national security.
Richard holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Engineering and more than 20 industry certifications, including CISSP, CISSP-ISSMP, CAP, C|CISO, GSEC, and GCED. He’s a seasoned professor at the University of San Diego and a passionate mentor committed to developing the next generation of security leaders.
